Right now I'm focused on how AI-assisted development is changing my approach to building software. I spend most days working with data-intensive Java Spring Boot applications and React frontends. Business systems analysis combined with AI tools now handles most of what I used to do manually—everything from requirements mapping and system design to test generation and boilerplate code. It's a fundamental shift in my workflow, and I'm genuinely curious about where this leads.

What I find most compelling is working on problems that felt intractable when done by hand. Agentic approaches unlock new possibilities in requirements gathering, architecture decisions, and test design. The constraint has shifted from "can I build this?" to "what specifically should I build based on requirements, and how do I validate it?"

On the technical side, I've been exploring:

• Spec-driven agentic development in enterprise systems
• Agentic approaches to project management and requirements mining
• Complex data management challenges
• Lean test automation through highly focused, agentic workflows

Outside of work, I'm also diving into homesteading — learning about food security, permaculture, and how to design a productive food-forest system. It's a great balance to the screen time.

I'm drawn to work that scales the impact of thoughtful design—where better systems architecture creates real value.
